Book a serene stay at this inviting holiday home in the Lake District village of Staveley, approximately 6 miles from Kendal, and known for its brewery tours. Up to four guests are welcome at the two-bedroom bungalow, which comes with outside relaxation space and bike storage. Head off on walks or cycle rides through beautiful surroundings, including the Kentmere Valley. Venture into the Yorkshire Dales, which begin about 9 miles away. Drive into Kendal to go shopping, dine out and visit the castle. Make your way to Windermere and Bowness, 4 and 5 miles away, to potter in independent shops, buy local provisions and take a cruise out on the water. Hire your own motorboat or go canoeing here too.

Open the door to this refurbished holiday home to find beautifully finished accommodation to spread out into. Discover an airy, open-plan lounge/diner that will quickly become the heart of your temporary home. Light the wood burner, switch on the Smart TV or choose a DVD to watch. Head through to the kitchen, with its electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, to whip up some tasty treats then carry dinner through to the dining table to enjoy together. Grab a few moments to yourself with a cup of coffee at the breakfast bar in the kitchen. You also have a snug, with another TV, for people to unwind in, and this opens into a conservatory with doors on to the garden. Both bedrooms at the property are immaculately decorated; a king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC and another king-size bed. The family bathroom is also close by; this has a bath, with shower above and WC.

Enjoy the lovely wildlife garden from the comfort of the conservatory. Store bicycles in the garage. There is parking for two cars at the house.

Lovely home with incredible views! Some cleanliness issues (bedroom dust, conservatory floor dead flies) but that didnt spoil our holiday at this wonderful property.

A lovely property with very modern kitchen and bathroom. Spacious lounge but also seating area by the conservatory to go and read if someone else was watching TV in the lounge. En-suite in the main bedroom was very useful.
