Mill cottage was a great home from home, equipped with everything we needed for our few day stay. The cottage was in lovely grounds and was really cosy. The location is excellent for exploring the area of Keswick and the many walks in the area. We look forward to a return trip.

Cosy and comfortable cottage on a wonderful location in the northern lakes. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked (with sharp knives!!!) and the log burner is perfect to warm up after a cold day on the hills. Already planning a return trip.

The property was excellent with everything you could need. Lovely to have plenty of matching glasses and I was particularly thrilled to find the knives were actually sharp (unlike in so many holiday properties). The location is second to none with lots of fantastic walks from the door. The Swinside Inn is highly recommended for a wonderful Sunday lRead moreunch (we visited several times but only ate there once). We are planning our return visit which is the highest recommendation possible. Hide

Such a lovely, well-equipped cottage nestled in beautiful surroundings, offering gorgeous walks and breathtaking views from the doorstep or just a short drive away. Lovely cottage in a fantastic location with so many walks straight from the door. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped and we all enjoyed relaxing in front of the wood burner after a long day of walking. Martin was a very welcoming and kind host and were guinea pigs for the excellent new bathroom just installed. Fantastic cottage in an amazing location. The Newlands Valley is the best in the Lakes in my opinion. Views of Catbells, Causey Pike and Barrow from the cottage, all of which we hiked. Owners very friendly and helpful. Will go again at some point.
