Brimming with shops, eateries and attractions, Keswick has plenty to keep you entertained throughout your stay. Board a boat and cruise across Derwentwater or hire your own boats and make a splash. Hop on and off to explore lakeside villages and scenic spots including Catbells (5 miles by road), Lodore Falls (3.5 miles) and Surprise View (3.5 miles). Wander from your door and stroll 1.5 miles to Castlerigg Stone Circle, which commands gorgeous views high above the vibrant market town.

Second floor apartment in Easedale House, a Victorian Lakeland slate building dating from 1860, there are 7 apartments in total. On arrival, head up to the top floor via the shared entrance to make yourself at home in this second-floor apartment. The open-plan living space has quirky low windows, exposed beams and an inglenook chimney breast. Settle on one of two sofas and switch off in front of the Smart TV for a quiet night in or sit down to dinner at the table for four. Located at one end of the living space, the kitchen has a fan oven/microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, larder fridge and under-counter freezer. Along the hallway find a laundry cupboard with a washer/dryer, useful for when you return from muddy adventures. The king-size bedroom has plenty of storage and a Smart TV, as well as an en-suite bathroom with a bath and separate shower. The second bedroom is a twin that can be made up as a super-king-size on request. This room also has lots of storage and an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and WC. Due to its top-floor position, there are sloping ceilings throughout the property - these should not restrict your headroom but please take care.

A parking permit is provided for the church car park across the road.

Easedale house is in an ideal location for staying in Keswick, an easy walk to the centre of the town and close to the lakeside. We stayed in Osprey flat, which was all that we needed for out week there. The kitchen was pretty well equipped. Would recommend this as a good flat to stay in.

The location of the flat is spot on and to be able to park opposite with a permit is such a bonus. The beds are very comfortable and we slept so well after enjoying such beautiful walks in the fantastic area.

Keswick is always wonderful. Fantastic views of Cat Bells and Skiddaw and more from the flat windows. Flat is very spacious and well equipped with really good en suites - although water is a bit too hot for child safety. Would rent again.

We had a good stay and would consider staying again. Good central location. Mostly quiet flat but we had bin lorry noise at 5:30 on two mornings out of four. Lovely views of Skiddaw and Cat Bells. Quite spacious. Well-equipped kitchen and good appliances. The flat is a bit 'tired', especially the sofas. Mostly clean. Main bed has a good mattress buRead moret it's a bit wobbly due to the metal frame. Nice bathrooms, but main bed shower is rather small. Very good Smart TV. Hide

Lovely spacious apartment with nice views of the fells out of all the windows and close to all amenities, while still being peaceful at night. The information for arrival was clear and all the codes for doors and keys were clear and we got in no problem. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. And the location was just a short walk to town and we used a bus stop just around the corner to pop to Windermere for a day. We had a great stay!

Great location with private parking available. Apartment was very clean warm and well equipped. Kitchen had everything you needed to cater for four people Beds very comfortable. Nice touch to have starter supply of tea and coffee and the biscuits were lovely. Osprey is right at the top so stairs might be an issue for some.

Really nice 2nd floor apartment. Centrally located with good parking space for one car and on street for the other car. Idea for 2 couples sharing. Lovely to have en-suite bathrooms for both rooms.

A clean and comfortable and well equipped apartment close to close to the main shopping centre and park. It's generally quiet but there seems to be bin collections every weekday, which can wake you up quite early. Having parking is welcome but it's a bit of a trip when you are arriving and leaving. Great apartment for family of 4. Very close to town centre. 2nd floor but if you dont mind using the stairs, you are rewarded with views of Cat Bells and Skiddaw from the lounge windows ! Highly recommended
