Make trips to Bassenthwaite and Thirlmere lakes, both around 4 miles away, for waterside walks and wildlife watching.

Leave your outerwear in the porch then wander on through into the lounge/diner. Take your pick of the comfortable chairs in here then choose yourself something to read or find a film on the TV.
