Brilliantly positioned for enjoying dining out, this home is less than half a mile from the centre of town. Wander down to the shore and hire boats to make a splash, or board a cruise for a more leisurely experience. Hop on and off to explore the sights which surround Derwentwater such as Lodore Falls (3.5 miles by road), Catbells (4.5 miles) and Surprise View (3.5 miles). If you fancy staying dry and stretching your legs, wander high above Keswick to Castlerigg Stone Circle (2 miles) for panoramic views. Treat family and friends to a movie night at the local cinema or book tickets for a show at Theatre by the Lake (less than a mile).

Step through the garden, through the front door and into the porch where you can hang coats and leave boots behind. Another door leads to the hallway from which you will find the open-plan living space. First is the dining area where you can enjoy meals together. The stylish kitchen has a full-height fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, four-slice toaster, eye-level double oven/grill and a smart four-ring electric hob. Sliding doors lead from the kitchen to the handy utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer. After dinner, relax in the lounge area which is accessed via an open arch from the dining space. The bay window lets lots of natural light in and the wood burner promises to keep you warm. Settle on a sofa or a chair and switch off in front of the Smart TV for a relaxing night in. There is an SNES classic video games console to keep younger guests entertained, however, you must provide your own games, or you could get competitive over a board game. After dinner and some quality time together, head to bed on the first and second floors. Climb stairs and reach the half landing where you can freshen up in the family bathroom with a bath and a shower. There is a separate WC. A second family bathroom with free-standing bath, walk-in shower and WC can be found up a few more steps. This room is beautifully designed and has a contemporary, luxurious feel. Next, there is a super-king-size bedroom with a large sofa and plenty of storage. The remaining two bedrooms are on the second floor and are accessed by ascending more stairs. The first room is a twin bedroom with quirky sloping ceiling and panoramic views, the second is a cosy double bedroom also with sloping ceilings and far-reaching views.

Take a morning tea or coffee outside to the enclosed yard, located just off the kitchen. A handy shed is available to use as bike storage should you fancy adventuring on two wheels. There is unallocated on-street parking.

Lovely, well equipped cottage a short walk from Keswick town centre and even closer to Fitz park. Dog friendly. Parking is competitive as is everywhere nearby but spaces can always be found.

Lovely home in great location. The house was very clean on arrival and had everything we needed for our week away. An easy walk into Keswick and whilst the parking was busy outside the house, we were able to park very near quite easily. The beds are really comfy and there are fantastic bathrooms and showers. Would highly recommend.

The location is perfect , five minute walk and you are in the centre of town . The beds are extremely comfortable and there was always plenty of hot water. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were a little worried about the parking situation but we got parked right outside.

The house was not clean and needed a lick of paint. Kitchen equipment was basic, needed a few things to make a self-catering accommodation earlier to use as self catering eg. Measuring jub, teaspoons, measuring spoons. Plates chipped, and cafeteria handle broken. Pillows filthy, which we did not see until we stripped beds at the end of our stay. YaRead morerd at back needs weed & jetwash. The outside bin was still full of rubbish even when they emptied it, previous guested had not bagged all the rubbish Hide

The property was in a great location, being only a 5 to 10 minutes walk, into the heart of Keswick. We found parking was good too and within a day, had our car right outside the front door, which was great for packing/ unpacking. The properties downstains living area was very spacious, as were the bedrooms. Having 2 lovely bathrooms a bonus and theRead more outside yard was great for our dog to bask in the morning sun. The domestic appliances were top notch, as was ths central heating. Hide

The cottage was clean, comfortable and spacious. We always managed to park reasonably close, either further down the street or round the corner. A bigger TV would be an improvement. We had a really good time and would definitely recommend the cottage.

A nice comfortable house in a great location. Wordsworth street is getting worse for parking and it was difficult to park within 20 metres of the front door.
