Fabulous accommodation in the heart of Ambleside. Great location for the South Lakes. Wonderful bus connections to the North Lakes, which I would highly recommend and leave the car in Ambleside. Lots of walks that can begin and finish from the cottage. Great restaurants on your doorstep, including The Priest Hole. Cottage is very cosy, well equippeRead mored and feels like home from home. This is our second stay and will definitely be coming back in the future. Hide

The cottage was ideally situated for the town centre and a 10 min walk to buses. We found the cottage very limited with lack of natural light in the living room and kitchen. The property as a whole was very spacious in bedrooms/ living /kitchen areas. The en-suite shower room needs upgrading to the same specifications as separate shower room- due tRead moreo barely acceptable water flow, very little storage area for toilet bags etc. Constant monitoring of central heating/ adjust temp, not ideal. We enjoyed our stay in Ecclerigg Cottage. The cottage was very conveniently situated and just a short walk into town. It was very quiet and peaceful and the living area was warm and well lit with a large modern television. There was parking for one car on site and free street parking for a second car.

Wonderful cottage. Very comfortable and cosy at this time of the year. Great location and easy access to restaurants, bars and shops. Short walk to the pier to grab a boat to Bowness. Lots of great walks from the cottage. We did not use the car until Thursday (we arrived on Saturday!!)

Very conveniently situated close to the town centre yet very quiet. Parking is also quite a bonus. The cottage is spacious and very well presented. This was our second stay there and we will be happy to book for it again.
