Local attractions in the town include the Theatre by the Lake, the Alhambra Cinema, Puzzling Place, Derwent Pencil Museum, Hope Park and Keswick Adventure Centre, with the ancient Castlerigg Stone Circle and Keswick Climbing Wall just outside the town. Local activities include rock climbing, hiking, and ghyll scrambling. At Whinlatter Forest Park (4.5 miles) you can hire mountain bikes and go exploring, or you can take a cruise from Keswick across Derwentwater, with stops at Ashness Gate, Lodore and Hawes End. Walkers can attempt Latrigg, Catbells, Skiddaw or Causey Pike (all within 6 miles).
Entering the property via a private entrance hall, stairs lead you up to the first floor where you will find the spacious and welcoming lounge/diner. This is a lovely space to relax in at the end of a fabulous day: the lounge features comfortable seating, an electric fire, Smart TV, CD and Bluetooth speaker. The dining area is ideal for sharing a favourite family meal which you can enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen.
