Had a lovely holiday over the New Year. The location is excellent near to all the facilities in Bowness which is only a 10 minute walk. Easy access too to Brant Fell. We were exceedingly lucky with the weather. Very quiet in the cul-de-sac just above the town. Plenty of parking. The cottage was extremely well-equipped and cosy and warm. The little Read morehospitality pack was gratefully received and an unexpected treat. The only disappointment was the lack of fireworks over the lake on Christmas Eve although I appreciate this was out of your control. The lakeside was packed with expectant wellwishers waiting to celebrate. Even the local residents were disappointed! Overall, an excellent choice for our family get-together, thank you Hide

The cottage is great, warm, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Its location, just a short walk from the shops and pubs of the town, but also really close to Brant Fell where we took the dogs every morning; absolutely beautiful, and the start of the Dales Way.

Great location and very well and thoughtfully equipped. Great enclosed garden for our two dogs to enjoy without worry. Place does need some updating, especially the showers. We would be quite happy to stay here again.

We enjoyed a lovely week here! The location was fantastic for popping to the shops, down to the lake, or up the hill for a dog walk. The house had everything you needed, including a lovely new dishwasher. The sink and hose in the garage were great for washing the dogs off, and the garden was fantastic for both the dogs to play in and humans to sit Read morein! The access to Netflix and Prime was great for the evenings along with the close proximity to the bars and restaurants. A really great cottage!! Hide

Well appointed and equipped accommodation. A quiet location to relax, excellent for the dogs and the garage parking was super for loading equipment and the dogs. The location meant that we were able to leave the car there a couple of days and venture out in Bowness or on the boats; a real pleasure for me as normally driving daily.

The house was nice but needs a bit of TLC to give if some life back, but it's in a great location.
