This idyllic Lakeland cottage provides the perfect base for families, friends and their canine companions looking to experience the peace and tranquillity the Lake District has to offer. The beautiful village of Bassenthwaite is under 4 miles away with its stunning lake, perfect for water activities and wildlife spotting at the nearby Bassenthwaite Osprey Project. Spend a day exploring the charming market town of Keswick (11 miles), known for its outdoor markets and the Derwent Pencil Museum, whilst history enthusiasts can visit the ancient St. James' Church and Mirehouse and Gardens (7.5 miles), an elegant historic house with scenic grounds. For a family-friendly outing, the Lake District Wildlife Park, just 4.5 miles away, offers close encounters with a variety of animals.
