A lovely house which fits 5-6 adults very comfortably. In a great spot for local walks around Windermere and Esthwaite Water, exploring Hawkshead and beyond to the high fells. Cosy if the weather is poor, but with pleasant outdoor space in the garden and up through the woodland to the secret bench if the weather is good.

Lovely comfortable cottage in a quieter part of the Lakes between Windermere and Coniston. Recently restored and refurbished, fully equipped, lots of homely touches, very warm and cosy. Private secure woods were perfect for our labrador.

Lovely comfortable, cosy cottage that was well equipped. No separation between the garden and the wood meant we had to keep one dog on a lead but with so many lovely walks which we explored, managed to exhaust him elsewhere. Highly recommend.

We loved this property and had a very relaxing week in the Lakes. The kitchen is particularly well equipped and of a very high standard, so a joy to use. Beds and linens all excellent too. The evening sun can be enjoyed whilst taking in the beautiful views. Would definitely return if we visit the area again!

What a lovely, comfortable house! It was well set up for cooking at home, spacious rooms and gorgeously decorated from top to bottom. We loved the location- so peaceful and away from the tourist throngs. Great for scenic walks, a couple of pubs nearby , the ferry across Lake Windermere, and Beatrix Potters farm.
