We had previously visited family whilst they were in this flat so we knew what to expect with regard to the rather uninviting approach amongst the bins and the 47 steps up to the flat. That said, the flat was very clean, easy to heat and we were very comfortable here. The t.v although the bottom right hand corner turns everything pink!, was a good Read moresize which you often dont get. The internet was speedy and worked well. A standard lamp with reading light would be of benefit in the lounge as the desk lamp provided doesnt position the light where needed. The flat suited us well and we will be back. Thank you. Hide

Once you've got past the outside entrance and climbed the 48 steps, this is a comfortable, very well equipped flat with good views. You also need to be aware that noise from the street, especially from the caf across the road, can sometimes be bothersome late at night.

The 47 steps from the street door to the flat's front door must be mentioned. It's no good getting there and finding that you can't climb all those steps.

4th (or is it 5th?) time i've stayed at this property which probably tells you all you need to know. Great for 2 / 2.5 people who want to be near the town centre and lake, but not good for the elderly due to the stairs up to the 2nd floor entrance.
