Lovely cosy quiet cottage, ideal spot to explore the western lakes with plenty of walks to choose from within a short distance. The home made cake was lovely and a great treat whilst out walking! Owners even helped me locate my missing food shop delivery!!!

The cottage was lovely inside and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The home baked cake, the flowers and the milk were a lovely touch. Thank you.

A nice little barn conversion with pretty much everything you could need. Well placed for the majority of the lakes and seaside walks on some fantastic beaches (St Bees at low tide). The local pub is very welcoming and highly recommended but book in advance for meals

We had the most amazing stay in the Lakes. The cottage at Hilltop was fantastic. We specifically wanted to explore the western lakes and the location was perfect for this. What a beautiful area. The cottage was very clean and equipped with everything we needed including tea, coffee, sugar, milk and enough dishwasher tablets for every night of ouRead morer stay should we need them. The personal touches made to the cottage for our arrival were a lovely surprise. The beds were comfortable and the cottage is spacious enough for four (there were only three of us). Our teen was happy with the WiFi signal! We were happy with the village pub being a stones throw from the cottage. They were very accommodating and serve the most amazing food. We would absolutely stay here again, highly recommended cottage and highly recommended owners. Hide
