Amazing location and ideal for walking. Warm and cosy studio. Basic decor and facilities but good value for money. Noise from other cottages can be heard and mattress a bit worn. No private outside space but access to lovely shared garden.

The property is located in a beautiful traditional house, in a gorgeous countryside remote from the most busy places but close enough to access the lake district must see areas. The appartement is very calm and confortable, great for a peaceful break. Hikers can even sart walking from the house.

We had a lovely week at the hayloft, the location is fabulous, only ten minutes away from the A66 but very quiet and relaxing. The gardens and paddocks were perfect for morning and evening dog walks being enclosed away from sheep and traffic. The owner is friendly and he immediately repaired the light bulb, when it brokes. The surrounding is great and there is a beautiful garden. The furniture is outdated including the kitchen. Clean nice sheets, bed but very small bed. Great shower. The bank has sagged, and however you can see there is a regular cleaning, things are not really cleanRead more.

Lovely location . Apartment not very well equipped. Kitchen and bathroom very clean on arrival, but everywhere else was very dirty, looking like it needed a deep clean! Unfortunately it was the worse place I have stayed at in over 30 years of coming up to this beautiful part of the world. If you want very basic , then this is ok.
