Our family had a very enjoyable week at Meadow Vale. The house is in a great location with incredible views north (of Blencathra) and south (of Clough Head). The house was lovely and warm - just what was needed after some long cold days hiking in the fells. The EV charger was an added bonus for us. We had the joy of seeing new born lambs added to Read morethe field adjoining the house, more each day, and to watch them playing. A well-presented, comfortable property. The kitchen was very spacious and well-equipped but having basic condiments like salt and pepper available would have been a nice touch. The Christmas goodies was a lovely gesture which was greatly appreciated and enjoyed by us all, as were the Christmas decorations. A great house in a great location apart from the close proximity to the A66; loud traffic noise if outside or on the balcony which would not be great if you were there in the summer months. A beautiful holiday home with all mod cons situated in the wonderful village of Threlkeld at the base of Blencathra mountain. Ideally situated for Keswick and all the lakes and mountains. Simply wonderful.

We had a lovely week in this spacious property. The location is great, but there is some noise from the main road with windows open. Great views from the property and a lovely village setting. Good quality, clean and spacious cottage. Advertised as all bedrooms en-suite so we were disappointed to discover on arrival that this is not the case. Strange to find that the only bedroom with a double bed in it is the one that is not en-suite. Views towards Blencathra are stunning, particularly from the upstairs lounge room.
