Off the kitchen area you will find the formal dining room which is decorated in dark tones; it is very atmospheric and is the perfect room for enjoying a special occasion! Off the dining room, there is an en-suite super-king-size bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and oak flooring. Head back through to the kitchen, and at the bottom of the stairs leading to the first floor you will find a cosy snug with comfortable seating and a Smart TV. It offers a great place to get away from the crowd, read a good book or watch your favourite film. Head up the traditional stone staircase which has been blended with the oak design to the first floor. Here you will find a spacious family bathroom with a lovely bath, perfect for relaxing in after a busy day exploring the area. There are two super-king-size bedrooms on this floor both have fabulous views and one has an en-suite shower room. Heading back downstairs into the hallway, across from the kitchen, go down the staircase into the original hay barn where you will find two more bedrooms. Beautiful comfortable house enjoyed by three generations of our family. We were a party of 8 plus 3 dogs. The views from the house were splendid and although we were deep in the countryside up several single track roads it did not take too long to get to Cockermouth or Keswick. Each bedroom was lovely with plenty of storage space. 4 good bathrooms Read moreand a very well equipped kitchen. The snug provided a useful sanctuary for either a grandparent or a teenager! The holiday was enjoyed by us all. Hide

We were 10 people and the house was perfect, was in perfect condition and very well located. Its pet friendly, so it has useful baby gates if you dont want the dogs to roam around. Well be back.
