Quality and comfort combine in this attractive Lakeland holiday home - a delightful choice for up to six guests to escape to. This mid-terrace property is located in the heart of Ambleside, one of Cumbria's most-loved holiday destinations. Naturally, you won't struggle to find outdoor activities to get the blood pumping nearby. Enjoy water sports, bike rides, and long hikes at Lake Windermere, just over 1 mile away, or take things at a slower pace with a scenic Windermere Lake Cruise. Discover Claife Heights (10 miles), a Far Sawrey walk boasting sweeping views across the lake or make your way towards The Old Man of Coniston (7.5 miles) for a more demanding fell walk. At the end of each day, let Ambleside's attractions fill your evenings, from welcoming local pubs to the town's independent cinema.

Finished to a high standard of design, this handsome holiday home invites you to switch off and truly relax. Take a few steps up and into the property, heading straight into the open-plan living space where sociable evenings unfold. A dining table separates the lounge and kitchen areas, creating a gentle division between cooking and relaxation. An exposed stone hearth forms the focal point of the room, while comfortable leather sofas sit opposite a Smart TV and wood burner, creating the ultimate spot for cosy nights in. Across the space, the well-designed kitchen features quality appliances - a dream for any budding chef. As the day draws to a close, make your way upstairs to discover three bedrooms across the first and second floors. On the first floor, a twin and a double bedroom each feature their own TV, offering peaceful spaces to unwind in privacy. These rooms share a handsome family shower room with a stylish slate finish. The master bedroom occupies the second floor - a bright super-king-size room with charming exposed stonework, ample space to get ready, and a private en-suite bathroom complete with roll top bath.

Due to the town-centre location, the property does not offer outside space; however, you'll find secure rear storage with an additional fridge/freezer and space for bikes. Parking is provided via permits for the car park opposite, with two permits included.

Very spacious house; perfect for mum, dad and 2 adult "children ". The house was well equipped and the addition of the bike storage was fantastic. For us, the constant road noise was distracting could be helped by better insulated windows - the closure on the front bedroom windows wasnt great. Overall a great stay in ambleside but next time we wilRead morel stay in a different house. Hide

Applegarth is a beautifully maintained and very well equipped property in a great central location. It worked really well for our multi- generational family trip as everyone had space and privacy but there is a generous open plan kitchen and living room. The whole house is spacious yet cosy and stylishly decorated through out
