This pretty two-storey property sits within a small cluster of eye-catching cottages at the entrance to Pullwood Bay Estate, and is ideal for families and friends seeking a tranquil get-together in the Lake District. The property offers direct access, by arrangement, to the lake from the private jetty for canoes, kayaks, and dinghies, and plenty of space to stroll and walk through the woodlands and along the lakeshore. You can find local amenities in nearby car-free Hawkshead or Ambleside, less than 3.5 miles away. Both offer plenty of shops, eateries and galleries to explore. Walkers will be in their element with Stock Ghyll Force and Skelwith Force waterfall trails, Loughrigg Fell and the scenic walks at Tarn How all within 5 miles. For rainy days, head to The World of Beatrix Potter or take a nostalgic trip on the Haverthwaite Steam Railway, both under 10 miles away.

This lovely traditional stone-built cottage has been carefully renovated, and the interior is a gorgeous setting for relaxing and socialising. The furnishings and decor mix calming hues with vibrant pops of colour and a nod to the natural surroundings, creating a superior and comfortable country retreat. Enter this welcoming property via the French doors to the rear and into a bright, spacious contemporary kitchen/diner. The kitchen features all the appliances necessary to rustle up tasty treats at any time of day. This is a great social space where everyone can lend a hand in preparing breakfast or dinner. The elegant living room is a real gem, decorated with accent colours, and the wood burner takes centre stage. At the end of a day exploring the Lake District, sink into soft sofas and chat or watch TV. Another set of doors opens out onto a south-facing patio. The downstairs also features a neat double bedroom and a shower room with WC, providing flexible sleeping arrangements for your guests. Upstairs, you'll find two splendid bedrooms: a spacious twin with delightful views and a king-size. Both boast plenty of storage and chic decor. A sleek, contemporary bathroom with a double shower cubicle, slipper bath, and WC completes the features of this impressive property.

Wander out on the patio area with outdoor furniture, making this a lovely spot to enjoy a morning coffee or linger over a lazy lunch. Beautiful spacious cottage, very clean and well kitted out. Great location near Ambleside, Wray Castle and Tarn Hows. Great access down the driveway to Lake Windermere which was great for paddle boarding.
