The cottage was lovely. A real home from home. The internet access was good and we were able to access many channels on the TV, As we were unfortunately recovering from severe chest infections we were not able to enjoy the local hills and paths as much as we had originally planned and ended up spending a lot more time in the cottage appreciating thRead moree interior which was really cosy, I would definitely book this cottage again. Very close to 5 stars definitely 4.5 stars. Hide

A great location just outside Ambleside with some great local walks but central enough to visit the great locations within the lakes. The cottage was great with good kitchen and lounging areas and easily accessible from Ambleside. Overall a great weeks break.
