Although the property looked a little tired it grew on us and we had a great week in the lakes.

Great little place everything you need. Handy parking outside property. Super lication for the fells and town. Very comfy bed, and a great layout for the property with a cozy lounge. Only one small down side is the green night lights in bedroom and kitchen, they are so bright on occasion they kept me awake. But that wouldnt not stop us from returniRead moreng. Oh nice tough with the bottle of bubbly Hide

We loved our stay here for 3 nights with our dog. We found it an ideal size for 2 people and a dog. The cottage itself is cosy, clean, very well equipped, and perfect for a dog. Location was great for us as well, a short drive into Ambleside and not far from Windermere or Bowness either, and well located to get out and explore all parts of the lakeRead mores. The bottle of prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch too. Would definitely recommend! Hide

Everything was fantastic. The extra touches like a bottle of prosecco were great. (Although not prosecco drinkers, we still found it a lovely touch). The parking disc came in handy, although we didn't find that until a couple of days in.

It was a beautiful cottage, with ample space for two people and a dog and all of the necessary facilities in a great location. I received good communication with Lakeland Properties with simple and easy to follow instructions on how to get to the place and enter.

Nice courtyard with plenty of afternoon sun, plenty of nice walks but be prepared to walk up the hilly long drive each time to the apartment, nice welcome bottle of Prosecco on our arrival
