From the front door, head into the lounge where sumptuous seating is gathered around a wood burner that takes pride of place. It's a lovely setting for catching up after a day on the fells. Beyond, the kitchen/diner combines classic design with contemporary touches. A large range cooker, integrated appliances and sleek quartz worktops make catering a pleasure. To the rear, a practical utility room houses a washer, dryer and freezer, with access out to the courtyard. Stairs rise from the lounge to three bedrooms. To the rear, a single and a king-size share a family bathroom complete with a beautiful roll-top bath – just the thing after a long walk. At the front of the cottage, the master super-king bedroom benefits from its own en-suite shower room; this room can also be arranged as a twin on request at the time of booking.
Outside, the enclosed patio/garden provides a corner for al fresco moments. While there is no private parking at the cottage, a permit for one vehicle is included, valid in several village car parks and throughout the South Lakes.
