This location offers uninterrupted views of the Lake, where you can stroll along the shore and explore the surrounding fells. Throughout the year, Grasmere hosts vibrant cultural events, particularly in the summer months. There are four steps down from the kitchen/dining area to reach the cosy sitting room, with deep cushioned sofas and ample window seating to take advantage of the magnificent views. Curl up with a book, catch up over a chat or put your feet up and watch TV. Downstairs, you'll also find a spacious bathroom and two bright and attractive twin bedrooms with ample storage. Excellent location for access to local walks and grasmere lake/village. Views from balcony were great. Property is spacious and well equipped with a beautiful landscaped garden. Lakeland retreats staff (Clare/Brook) were very helpful before and after booking. Enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning sometime soon.
