Nestled in the heart of the Lake District, it sits within a tranquil valley, overlooked by the hulking form of Place Fell, just over 1 mile from Patterdale village with its selection of country pubs. Enjoy a trip on one of the steamers from Ullswater Lake which is less than 2 miles away or visit the beautiful Aira Force waterfalls (5 miles). Paddleboard or enjoy wild swimming, pack a picnic for two, or for something a bit different, why not go alpaca walking?

This stunning, well-equipped shepherd’s hut offers a great open-plan space with a comfortable double bed, wall-mounted Smart TV, dining area and French doors looking out over the fells. It features a cute, bijou kitchen area that is kitted out for rustling up a nice breakfast or romantic dinner for two, with a Belfast sink, microwave, two-ring hob and fridge/freezer. There is a shower room and WC off the main living space. The design and layout of this shepherd’s hut has been lovingly thought out, with lots of lovely welcome gifts to enjoy on arrival.
Head outside, and you will find a private seating area at the front of the property with a private hot tub overlooking the fells, which is just the place for reading a good book or enjoying dinner cooked on the BBQ. When the sky gets dark, sit back and relax in front of the fire pit and stargaze.

Amazing little hut in an absolutely beautiful area. Had a slight issue with the gas for the boiler(these things happen)but after contacting the owner a man(with a lovely dog)came running down the field within 5 minutes to fix it which was great. Cant recommend enough!

A cosy lodge experience with hot tub, BBQ, and fire pit. The lodge itself was very nice inside, with all the essentials that you need. Location wise, its a nice 40/50 minute walk to Glenridding, a 10 minute drive from Aira Force Waterfall, and about 25 mins to Keswick so a great location! Dressing gowns, slippers etc were provided along with a compRead morelimentary bottle of prosecco which was a nice touch. The hot tub area was lovely, equipped with surrounding fairy lights. A very nice weekend! Hide
