Lovely wee place. Lovely wee touches with homemade jam and bread and milk for in for our arrival. Proper tea pot in the cupboard and decent size mugs for tea and coffee. Good location for exploring the west side of the lake District and coast line. Easy to find yet you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Amazing views day and night.

We received a very warm welcome, from Mike and Vicki, the house was spotless and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. We both enjoyed the welcome pack and my husband particularly liked the biscuits. The dog paddock was a godsend to our dogs who enjoyed running around it and exploring the scents in the fields. The only downside for us was thaRead moret the cottage wasnt as isolated as we had hoped and could hear fireworks over several nights, one of the dogs is scared of them. Highly recommended. Hide
