From Glenridding, you can also board an Ullswater Steamer for a day out on the water. Visit the lakeside villages for a wonder around and grab some lunch. The Aira Force waterfall is 3 miles away by road and well worth a visit. If you fancy a lively night or a show, travel 16.5 miles to the Adventure Capital of England, Keswick and book tickets for the Theatre by the Lake.
This beautiful stone built Lakeland cottage sits above Glenridding village and is accessed up a steep narrow drive. Upon entering the property you will feel right at home, get ready to pop the kettle on and relax. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob with an oven and grill, a microwave, dishwasher and fridge. The handy utility has a freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. The lounge boasts a wonderful wood burner and is the perfect play to sit and talk about the days adventures, or just enjoy some peace and quiet with a good book. There is also a payphone should you need to make a call. Dinner can be served in the dining room where the table seats four guests. Head upstairs to settle down for the night in one of two lovely bedrooms. The master double boasts views across to Ullswater whilst the twin is decorated in neutral tones. Both bedrooms share the family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.
