This is a lovely, clean, well-appointed cottage! There was plenty of hot water and good water pressure. My group especially admired the log burner and the wool blankets and drapes (nice and cozy for early spring). The driveway is a little tricky to enter, but once youre in, the parking area is wonderfully spacious. We loved the books of local walksRead more. Thank you for a fantastic stay! Hide

Fox Hollow is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay in a beautiful location. The rooms are spacious and well decorated, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The garden is lovely to sit in, sheep in the field next door. The property is on a junction, so there is a bit of noise from traffic during the day. The location is great, 10 minuteRead mores drive to the Lake and so many lovely walks nearby. It is also not far from the A66, which makes it easy to get to. Would recommend this property. Hide

A fantastic property that was spacious throughout. We had a wonderful family weekend. We would recommend Lowther Castle, Krazy Kong and the World of Beatrix Potter.

A perfect stay. So well equipped, clean and comfortable. Lovely cottage and location. The little 'extras' in the kitchen , Christmas decorations and dressing gowns/slippers made it a 5* stay . Would love to return.

Lovely house but as above needs work around the wood burner. The bathroom would benefit from a deeper full size bath. The house should have an information booklet. The kitchen could do with removing the island as this is too close to the cooker and difficult when more than one person being in that area. Garden is lovely but could do with the toys bRead moreeing out of sight, we usually stay at a property that does not allow children which is brilliant for us. House was nice and warm. Hide

The property is in a peaceful location perfect for travelling to different areas of the Lake District. The house is set in beautiful gardens which we managed to use once due to bad weather which was a real shame. Cozy comfortable house but could do with an update.
