This beautifully styled apartment is set over two floors and in a lovely position in the centre of the market town of Keswick. The town has a great selection of restaurants and independent shops to explore. You can enjoy your Lake District surroundings with a stroll down to the shores of Derwentwater (0.5 miles) to catch the launch from Keswick across the lake and conquer Catbells, popular with walkers of all ages and abilities.

Walking through the door of this newly renovated and beautifully appointed property, you’ll find the lounge is a lovely light space with a beautiful bay window. This room has been tastefully decorated and furnished with comfort and elegance in mind. There are two sofas - a three-seater and a two-seater - and two comfy chairs which surround the Smart TV, perfect for a family night in or a daytime movie. The chef of the family will enjoy creating a feast in the fabulously designed kitchen. Here we have an electric oven and induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge/freezer, plus an island unit with stools. Just off the kitchen is the utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Next to that is the dining room with a dining table and chairs for all to gather around and enjoy a good meal or plan the next day’s adventures. Heading into the hallway is the master bedroom with a king-size bed and the separate shower room is also on this floor. Heading down to the lower ground floor, you will find another two bedrooms: a twin bedroom (can be made into a super-king upon request) and another king-size bedroom. In between the two bedrooms is a shower room with a shower and WC.

The patio area with seating is a stunning spot to enjoy those amazing views and a glass of wine after a busy day exploring the local area. There is private parking for one car, and on-street parking available nearby, subject to availability.

Absolutely lovely apartment with great space for 6 adults. Very spacious rooms and nicely decorated. Id highly recommend Newlands.

Great location and very comfortable spacious warm apartment. Loads of space in the kitchen and a great selection of equipment such as a cafetire, teapot and butter dish, plus it may have been previous guests leaving bits behind, but the salt and pepper shaker was a godsend as we forgot ours. Spacious, well kept accommodation in a convenient position to get in and out of the Keswick bustle. Walking the streets when the day visitors have long since left (and sampling the many hospitality venues) was a real pleasure Id love to repeat.

This is the third time weve stayed in this property. It is in a great location and has parking which is a premium in Keswick. It has everything you could possibly need for your stay and is so comfortable. The communication before, during and after with Sam was really good. Cant recommend this place enough.

Fantastic location within a stones throw of Keswick town centre, so handy for all of the amenities in very short walking distance, but once inside, it is nice and quiet too so perfect for relaxing. Newlands Escape is an excellent property on a quiet street only a block from the heart of Keswick's town square. Walkable to all the town has to offer, from restaurants to markets to museums, the lake, and the fells. A free and convenient parking space (off street) is a huge advantage, and the amenities are top drawer. A fine stay.

Perfect location for walking around Keswick centre but nicely tucked away in a quiet spot. The property was immaculate and very cosy. Plenty of space for relaxing or cooking and the ideal base for getting around the Lakes. Superb location, quality, well equipped, clean, comfortable roomy apartment. 3 generations had a great week's stay. Would definitely recommend and hope to return as we feel it was the best accommodation we have stayed in in Keswick over the years.
