I read a description of the house on canine cottages but some how managed to book through holiday cottages and read dogs were allowed to snuggle up on the sofa but when I got there the booklet stated that they weren't allowed on the furniture or upstairs which I was very disappointed at, dog friendly should not be stated if there are these restrictRead moreions. Other than that the house was amazing for humans. Well stocked with everything you could think of for general living. Amazing location with only a quick walk into Keswick. Would definitely recommend for human only stay. Hide

We had a slight hiccup at the beginning of our stay however both the owners and Holiday Cottage were quick to respond. The property was very nice and spacious with great views. We felt very relaxed throughout our stay, Keswick is only a short walk away.

Unusual cottage, it has a lot of personal things around you would love it if your a lover of the royal family. The garden steps are very high and had lose flags on them . We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage has everything you need. The location is amazing for walks straight from the door. We did take our dogs and the garden is not secure if you have a naughty chocolate lab who can squeeze through gaps in the bushes.
