The light and airy kitchen has lovely views out over the garden and is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Lynwood cottage is a great place to stay. Well equipped plenty of room a great location for walks (from the house one didn't always need a car) and excursions into the lakes generally. It was lovely to have a garden to sit in when it wasn't raining! I would highly recommend and hope to return.

The cottage was perfect for our familys needs (2 adults, 11 and 14 year old). On arrival everything was scrupulously clean, bed linen and towels / tea towels provided as well as everything we needed. This cottage easily absorbed all five of us - 2 adults, 2 late teenagers and a younger teenager. We had plemty of room and two bathrooms meant there were no arguments. Had a lovely comfortable stay. The house was very well equipped both in terms of kitchen items and also with things to do. Lots of games and puzzles for all ages. It couldn't be faulted, really good base to explore this part of the Lake District, especially when coming from down. South! Would highly recommend.
