A cosy cottage in a great location, with plenty of walks on your doorstep so there is no need to venture out of the valley all week. It is usually very peaceful in the cottage, but as we found out when the cows are in the neighboring barn they are very loud. I can recommend both the Bridge Inn and the cafe next door for food.

Great cosy cottage in a fantastic location. Just away from the bustle of Buttermere visitors. We didn't drive all week and were kept busy walking the local fells. We had such good weather we even swam in Buttermere and Crummock Water. Lovely cake and pies from the farm cafe.
