Set in the heart of Keswick, this boutique-style holiday property offers a relaxed holiday stay. Walkers and cyclists are perfectly placed for challenging adventures in the surrounding mountains and fells, while paddleboards, canoes and kayaks await at Derwentwater Marina (2.5 miles). Source fresh food produce at Keswick’s markets and visit the town’s museums and cinema (0.5 miles) or explore the ancient Castlerigg Stone Circle (1.5 miles). Take a family-friendly stroll on Derwent Water Walk which skirts for 10 miles around the lake - hop on and off the launch cruise boats to make the journey more entertaining for children and look out for curious red squirrels in the woods by the shore.

Step inside this charming holiday retreat which has spacious contemporary-style interiors with sleek design features, restful hues, and ambient lighting for a restful stay. Leave coats and muddy hiking boots in the large porch before heading through to the inviting living room which has exposed timber beams and cosy leather sofas, along with fell views. Stay warm from the heat of the pebble effect gas fire and tune into favourite programmes on the TV with Freeview. Make delicious feasts together in the well-equipped kitchen and dining area which features an electric oven, halogen hob, American style fridge freezer, microwave, and a convenient dishwasher plus a large oak dining table. A large utility cupboard houses a washing machine and ironing board, and there’s a kitchen breakfast bar for morning coffees. The ground floor includes two beautiful bedrooms - a double with an en-suite shower room (with a shower and WC), and a cosy bunk bedroom with a TV - ideal for children. There’s also a family bathroom with a shower and WC. Head upstairs where you’ll find a magnificent king-size bedroom which has an en suite-shower room with a shower and WC, plus large window seat with outstanding fell and mountain views. Enjoy breakfast in bed or curl up on the window seat and gaze out at Blencathra, Latrigg and Skiddaw.

Parking is available for one small car at the side of the house. The enclosed rear garden has shrubs and plants, a patio and a deck with a breakfast bar style outdoor seating area. There’s also an outbuilding/games room with a pool table and table tennis conversion, a tumble dryer, and storage space for sports gear. And you’ll find a pub, shop, and restaurant within half a mile.

Great location and well equipped property. 5 minutes walk from town. Bedrooms were comfortable and very clean. Bedding and towels all provided. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups and all we needed. Good enclosed garden with plenty of seating. Games room a good bonus

Excellent location, spacious for the two of us. Car parking sometimes difficult at the weekend - parking on the side only useful if you have a small vintage mini

Nice place, good base comfy. Would recommend there being a back door key rather than having to go in the front all the time.

Beautiful house in a perfect location close to town, bus stop and many many walks. The property is comfortable and well equipped - the views were stunning, like a picture postcard. We managed to park 2 cars down the side of the house, however there was also ample street parking available. Secure garden for the dogs to wander around, due to the NoveRead morember weather we didnt sit outdoors but there was a nice decking area with seating. We would stay there again! Hide

Beautiful large enclosed back garden and games room really helped entertain the little one. Excellent location right next to Fitz park. Loved the ground floor bedroom and bathroom for my grandad who can't get up the stairs.

We can't fault this cottage, it was spotless and even nicer than we expected. For a dog friendly cottage we always expect the cleanliness to take a hit but this wasnt the case, the standard was very high. Bedding and towels were spotless and nice, everything immaculate. Location was brilliant to go into keswick and access all the walks. Garden was Read moresafe and enclosed. Views were beautiful. Cottage has everything you need. Dvds were a nice touch for rainy days. Would come again in heartbeat thanks Hide

Lovely cottage in a great location. If you have a dog, Fitz park is 100 yards away and great for an early morning walk. It rained quite a bit so we didn't get to use the outside area as we would have liked but it looks very nice. There are no tips on the pool cues so if you fancy a game take your own cue. This cottage is in a delightful spot close to town centre, parks & bus stops. It was clean & tidy with all our major requirements met, along with tea, coffee & sugar although we took our own. The beds we used were clean & comfortable

Overall we had a good stay, cottage is clean and great location. Plenty of crockery/glasses etc. although some could do with replacing. The garden needs a good tidy - lots of weeds. The bunk bedroom smelt musty - we didn't use it thankfully as there were 4 adults staying. The 'parking' next to the cottage is unuseable - you might get your car in buRead moret you won't be able to get out. You do get a space in the car park next door but this was a problem for us as we had 2 cars. Hide
