Home away from home. We absolutely loved the cottage and its location. The pub down the road is lovely, recommend the Sunday roast. Also have live music on Friday nights. Loads of lovely nearby walks. Safe enclosed garden for our adventurous Labrador!

The cottage was ideal for our stay in the Lake District, it was certainly big enough for the 2 of us and our dog Bonny. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and was in a quiet location. The cottage is situated in the South of the Lakes therefore visiting Lake Windermere is easy from here. We particularly enjoyed days out in GrizRead moreedale Forest and Fell Foot National Park which are also very close by. The cottage is 5 minutes from the White Hart pub which we also recommend. Hide
