Generally ok, living room area was comfortable, beds were comfortable too. Quite noisy as right next to the road. A few other issues that have been raised separately. Overall Cockermouth was very nice

Very comfortable cottage with everything you could need for a great stay. Location is perfect for exploring the Lakes and just a short stroll to pubs / cafes / shops / parks. Free parking on site was a bonus with being so close to town.

Wonderful location, just a couple of mins stroll from the lovely town centre. The home is well equipped with excellent and comfortable beds and living space. All 5 of us enjoyed the stay and the whole place was immaculately clean. A great base to explore the beautiful countryside surrounding the town.

Although on one of the main roads in Cockermouth, once inside the cottage it was cosy and quiet. It was clean, tidy and comfortable and Cockermouth itself is a lovely town and a great base for exploring the Lake District and the west coast of Cumbria.

Lovely quirky period property, well suited for our needs. No cot mattress and we were unable to connect to the property's WiFi as the router didn't appear when we searched for it.

Great location despite the busy road. Well equipped with the basics eg toilet roll, soap, salt and pepper, oil etc. everything a bit tired, in need of a good clean. Don't arrive with a couple of bags of shopping to put in the fridge (like I did) as the fridge is tiny and completely inadequate.
