Overall this was a great base. The cottage was comfy enough, although the beds and pillows are not comfortable and would recommend a topper to go on them and bring your own pillow. A number of things around the site could be improved that are not within the capability of the cottage owners. The car park light stays on all night and is very bright. Read moreThe pool was very cold, the sauna and steam room were not clean or working properly. The changing room showers were also very cold. Hide

Great location, wonderful lodge. Staff on site very helpful and friendly. Plenty to do for all ages. Be warned, site facilities closed from 6pm on Sundays. Plan to eat out that night.

Over all cottage was good. It was clean and tidy and well decorated. However the sofas and chairs were most uncomfortable due to the underneath having collapsed. The dining chairs were all wobbly. There was nowhere to hang a towel in the downstairs toilet.
