Less than half a mile takes you to the town centre with its independent cinema, waterside theatre and totally unique Pencil Museum, along with plenty of places to dine and unwind. Also close by is the Lakeland fells of Helvellyn (8 miles) and Skiddaw (5 miles) with their abundance of unforgettable walking or cycling routes all-around.

Boasting a slate exterior which is traditional to the local area, this property is certain to wow you from the inside out. Five shallow steps lead from the pavement to the shared front door with the upstairs apartment, which is also a holiday let. Step inside and discover a stylish space laid out across the ground floor. Enter into the open-plan living space with its impressive bay windows and high ceilings. Here you’ll find a lounge to one side and a kitchen on another. The bright kitchen has been fitted with a fridge, freezer, electric hob and oven, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher, along with a generous dining table for enjoying romantic meals together. A wood burner-effect electric fire is the focal point of the sitting room. Settle down in a cushy armchair or sofa to flick through the TV or delve into books left out to be enjoyed. Continue along the corridor to discover the king-size bedroom, a sumptuous space with stylish wooden furniture and plenty of storage. Completing the property is a contemporary en-suite bathroom with WC, luxurious waterfall shower and heated towel rail.

Take morning coffee outside in the patio space to the back of the property. Here you’ll find a much-needed bistro set to sit and relax along with outdoor lighting to enjoy the space at night time.

This is our 3rd stay at the apartment. The location is ideal with only a 5 minute walk into the centre of town. The apartment is warm and cosy and has everything that you would need. We had a couple of little issues, however, after a quick phone call, these were rectified within hours. Brilliant customer service.

Athena is a stunning property. It was the perfect location for a getaway! There is so much to see and do in Keswick that is within walking distance that we hardly used the car. The layout of the property is perfect for someone with mobility issues, once the three front steps have been climbed. The large walk-in shower is a real bonus. The apartment was nice and spacious for two people and well equipped the only down side is the fact that there is an apartment above and that would not of been a problem as we knew this but the people that were above us had a dog that they obviously shut in a room all night and ignored hence it barked solidly all the first night we stayed fortunateRead morely Sallys cottages wonderful staff sorted that out for us,we wouldnt stay there again because of this even though the apartment is very modern. Athena was a wonderful place for my husband and I to spend Christmas. It was beautifully furnished, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Loved the Christmas tree that had been put up. We know Keswick very well and loved the location. No problem at all parking on the street. Cant wait to come back to Athena for a second visit in 2023.

We had a great weekend in Athena, the flat was stylish, comfortable and well equipped. The Christmas tree was a lovely bonus. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time we visit Keswick.

Beautiful flat in lovely location - we would love to return. Perhaps the owners may like to remind the occupants of Sulas Loft (above flat) to be considerate of noise though.

Lovely property with modern decor. Suitable base for exploring Keswick and surrounding areas. It was very well equipped and comfortable. On street parking was usually busy so it wasnt easy to find a parking space near the property however, this didnt cause us any bother.

This cottage was wonderful. Great space, great amenities including a heated bathroom floor. An outdoor private space with a table and chairs. It's location was central to all the wonderful parks and walking trails. I would definitely stay here again.

Great base for two people to stay at when exploring Keswick and the Lake District. Clean and modern. More spacious than expected, well equipped and comfortable. Parking is on street and was a little bit tricky at busy times. But otherwise cannot fault it and would definitely return next time were in Keswick.
