Disembark during the trip to see the famous Aira Force waterfall and look out for red squirrels or stop at Howtown and follow the Ullswater Way for 8 miles along the picturesque shores of the lake to Glenridding. Stroll less than 1 mile from the cottage to reach 13th-century Brougham Castle, in a magical setting.
