My partner and I stayed in the Twitchers 1 bed cottage over a long weekend from the 14th of February. We were personally showed around the complex and settled in by the family that owns the property. Every detail into comfort and innovation has been considered in the layout and amenities of our cottage and the spa. There were also personal touches Read morethat we loved, such as a hamper of complementary foodie items from local suppliers. I would thoroughly recommend this as a luxurious and unique resort Hide

Perfect place for a secluded & relaxing break. The cottage is rustic, but loaded with state of the art technology (including mood lighting options)! The giant tub in the bedroom is heavenly & the bath robes were a lovely touch. The leisure facilities could rival that of a spa!

The Lake District National Park is a superb choice for a holiday. If you love nature and the great outdoors, the Lake District is one of the UK’s most beautiful holiday destinations. Taking up the lion’s share of the north-western county of Cumbria, the region has been popular with visitors since Victorian times, and it’s the only place to find mountains in England. Peace and tranquillity characterise the wonderful Lake District, with 16 lakes, including England’s longest and deepest, there is much to see and do. Visit Coniston Water, Ullswater, Wast Water and Windermere for just a taste of what you can see in the Lake District National Park.

Small towns like Ambleside, Windermere, Hawkshead, Bowness-on-Windermere and Glenridding all make for great bases from which to relax and unwind between sojourns into the fantastic natural landscapes of the Lake District National Park. Wildlife and bird lovers can spot all kinds of lesser spotted species in situ, and walking trails reveal some of the very best vistas within English borders. To embellish the experience, you can enjoy some of the country’s cosiest pubs and restaurants, many found in picture-perfect locations.
