Nice house and easy parking but a sadly lacking some home comforts. Most of our concerns were dealt with during our stay but the house does have a damp or wet dog odour, some dusty surfaces on arrival, no access to streaming on the television. Bring DVDs as the TV signal is intermittent. We have left behind a puzzle for future guests to enjoy on thRead moree rainy days. The outdoor space is a bench on the bridleway behind the house, next to the gas canisters. Not really useable sadly. Hide

Lovely cottage in a quiet village. Easy to get to Kendal and Windermere and loads of nice walks around. Clean and spacious not hugely child friendly but good enough for a few days away.

A lovely detached cottage in a quiet village that was extremely clean and supplied everything we needed for our week stay. This was our first time to the lake district and this cottage was central to all the places we wanted to see. Will like to come back if we make another trip up here in future.

We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable house. !SELECTED! !ENDOFSELECTED!there are fields very close by to walk in, as long as you don't mind sheep! There were a few practical issues but overall we had a good time.
