Fantastic little bungalow in a prime position in Keswick. Close enough to access the town (a 10 minute walk with a shortcut from the footpath opposite) easily but also near to main link roads and footpaths for days out. The bungalow was clean and well presented. Yes the shower is small but there was hot water readily available (combi boiler) and thRead moree water pressure was excellent. The outside area (+parking) was lovely and the porch for wet clothes and boots was a real bonus after a days walking. Hide

The bungalow is situated in a very quiet cul de sac with a lovely garden. The property was well decorated and very comfortable. It was only a ten minute walk into Keswick and we never used the car throughout our stay, using the local buses instead.

Lovely cottage in an excellant position for keswick/surrounding areas. i would prefer a washing machine to a dishwasher because if wanted to stay longer than a week would have to pack loads of clothes. The only thing we didn't like about the cottage was the shower cubicle. We're not big people but we struggled with it. So until its replaced that's Read morethe only reason we wont be returning any time soon and would mention to friends/family who ask about our stay. Hide

I found the cottage ideal for myself. It was clean and tidy and had a lovely kitchen. It was handy to all the amenities in Keswick being only a 15 - 20 minute walk away. I would certainly go back

The Lake District National Park is a superb choice for a holiday. If you love nature and the great outdoors, the Lake District is one of the UK’s most beautiful holiday destinations. Taking up the lion’s share of the north-western county of Cumbria, the region has been popular with visitors since Victorian times, and it’s the only place to find mountains in England. Peace and tranquillity characterise the wonderful Lake District, with 16 lakes, including England’s longest and deepest, there is much to see and do. Visit Coniston Water, Ullswater, Wast Water and Windermere for just a taste of what you can see in the Lake District National Park.

Small towns like Ambleside, Windermere, Hawkshead, Bowness-on-Windermere and Glenridding all make for great bases from which to relax and unwind between sojourns into the fantastic natural landscapes of the Lake District National Park. Wildlife and bird lovers can spot all kinds of lesser spotted species in situ, and walking trails reveal some of the very best vistas within English borders. To embellish the experience, you can enjoy some of the country’s cosiest pubs and restaurants, many found in picture-perfect locations.
