Brimming with sophisticated style and features, this dwelling sleeps eight across four bedrooms, making it a great destination for family reunions or catching up with friends who share a love of the great outdoors. Spend your days treading paths close to home or explore further afield, before returning for an al fresco tipple or a cosy night in.

Climb external steps and make your way in through the front door, heading for the lounge on the left where you can relax and unwind, putting your feet up on one of two plump sofas. Switch on the Smart TV for a family movie afternoon. Step through the grand archway and lay the table for dinner before cooking up a storm in the sleek, stylish kitchen. Two fridge freezers and sleek appliances make rustling up meals a breeze. Gather at the island with a mug of coffee in the morning or a glass of something cold in the evening, or take a seat on a bar stool for an informal breakfast to start your day. Climb stairs to the first floor where three double bedrooms, a twin room and the family bathroom await. There is ample off-road parking.

Whether you prefer to explore on foot or take to two wheels and head out on your bike, there are plenty of tracks and trails to choose from. Hop on the Railway Path and make your way to the vibrant hub of Keswick, a 6.5-mile round trip from the local village and a lovely way to visit the town without jumping in the car. If little ones are joining you, entertain them with a day out at Go Ape (10.5 miles).

Wardrobes in 1 bedrooms. other bedrooms had hooks on walls with coat hangers Very tatty/dated throughout and in need of desperate redecorating and cleaning. The cottage was clean, and well equipped and a few minutes drive away from the keswick town centre. The owner was available on phone for any queries. The property has 1 combined bathroom and toilet which was abit of a struggle for 8 people.

Its ok. Part of a small complex of holiday cottages (which isnt made clear on the website). The decor is tired and the place doesnt feel particularly clean - the pictures make it look better than it really is. Lots of flies- its right next to a cattle shed. I cant say we would rush back.

Great location and setting House is good value although could be brightened up, quite quirky. Kitchen is very modern and house is warm with lots of hot water etc. Tap is good but takes getting used to. Only one bathroom but it's workable.

Good location if coming from the north or east. Easy access to keswick. Nice pub a mile away. Comfortable cottage, strange eclectic mix of furnishings, odd statues and ornaments that are not really needed. Warm and cosy.

This was a perfect location for exploring the Lake District. The cottage was overall comfortable and would definitely visit again.

Sparkling clean and in a good location for Keswick and northern lakes. Beautiful local walks. Very comfortable cottage and exceptionally clean. We found the beds gave us an excellent night's sleep. The kitchen is full of gadgets and the lounge is a comfortable space to relax. The location is excellent, only a ten minute drive from Keswick or use the old railway line to walk or cycle in.

We really enjoyed our holiday. The cottage was clean and beds very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped with everything we needed. The views were amazing and the cottage was in a great location close to Windermere Keswick etc. Loved sitting outside the cottage and looking at the views.
