This beautiful Lakeland house offers a relaxing getaway for the family set in its own grounds with space for all including your four-legged friends.

Located in the Lake District National Park and its own grounds adjacent to the owners home, Eller How House is in the heart of walker’s paradise straight from your door. You have plenty on offer only a short distance away with a 10-minute drive, head north to the shores of Lake Windermere and he beautiful villages of Bowness, Windermere and Ambleside, which all have plenty to offer form eateries to shopping to outdoor pursuits. Head south to the world-renowned village of Cartmel which boats a Michelin star restaurant, Cartmel priory and also the famous Cartmel racecourse which in itself is a wonderful day out for the family. There are plenty of activities to enjoy locally such as The Lakeside & Haverthwaite Stream Railway for preserved steam railway trips to Lakeside, Levens Hall and gardens, Beatrix Potter and Lakeland Motor Museum.

On entering the property, you firstly enter the main hallway with hooks and boots rack, perfect after a day walking to hang up the gear. To the right is the spacious kitchen/diner where you can rustle up a great family feast and is equipped with electric oven and hob, dishwasher and fridge. Behind the kitchen is the utility room which holds a second fridge, separate freezer and washer/dryer. The first bedroom located on the ground floor is the double with en-suite shower and WC and the twin zip-and-link room (which can be made into a super-king-size on request) room with en-suite shower and WC. Heading upstairs we arrive into a grand hall with lovely aspects where to the left side you will find the grand lounge area. Enter via the double doors to be greeted by a beautiful space with open fire, two sofa’s and armchairs and a TV/DVD plus views overlooking the garden. Lastly, we have the king-size bedroom with it’s own private balcony and en-suite bathroom with bath and WC.

Outside you will find an enclosed courtyard area, own private garden space and 12 acres of woodland to explore plus a summerhouse to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
