We had a lovely stay here. It is in a great location so you can walk into the village and also have easy access to nice walks from the doorstep. The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean when we arrived. All the extra blankets and the log fire are lovely to make it cosy on an evening. Fantastic cottage in a beautiful location. Really close the the amenities of Glenridding, but because it's a little up the valley, you get stunning views, and don't fell that you are in a village at all. You could sit on the (south-facing) bench at the front of the house all day, if there weren't so much else to do - climbing the mountains from youRead morer door, and enjoying the watersports on the lake. The cottage is nicely decorate and furnished, and really cosy and comfortable. Hide

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Cottage was relatively clean and well furnished. Bedrooms were well equipped with stunning views of the hills. Lovely cottage, beautifully renovated making the most of the space. Wonderful views back and front. 20 minute walk/4 minute drive from Glenridding village is quite steep & uneven - bear this in mind. Lovely cottage, perfectly located for the Helvellyn range and good for Ullswater (we canoe as well as fell walk). Comfortable and practical - what more do you need. Do be aware of the access road, as grounding low cars is a risk, but keep it slow and you'll be OK
