Sitting in the heart of Keswick, fill your days with good food and exploration. Board a boat at the local launch and enjoy a cruise across Ullswater where you can hop on and off to visit the pretty lakeside villages. Stop off at Lodore (3.5 miles) to see the waterfall, Climb Catbells from Hawse End (4 miles) or head to Surprise View from Ashness Bridge. Find plenty of places to dine out in Keswick so you can enjoy dining out before an evening at the movies (less than half a mile) or at the Theatre by the Lake (1 mile). If you’re dining in, visit the twice-weekly market and stock up on local goods.

Steeped in history, climb the communal stairs to the second floor and head inside. Settle down for a moment in the lounge/diner where you can switch on the TV or enjoy the views in peace. Pop on your favourite programme for a snug night in after dining at the table by the window where you can gaze out over Skiddaw and other fells. When it comes to cooking, the kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, fridge with icebox, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Head to bed and drift off in the double bedroom before rising and opening the curtains to views of Walla Crag. Freshen up in the bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

We had a fantastic week here. Amanda was very helpful and made things easier for us as we were bringing our 1 year old with us. The flat was just what we needed for a base to explore from and somewhere comfy to come back to in the evenings. It has great views from. Thank you, we would come back

This is our second time of staying at Skiddaw view & it didnt disappoint. Everything you need for a home from home stay in the heart of Keswick with fab views from all the windows. Clean & well equipped, comfy bed, lovely linen. The wine, chocolates & biscuits left for us was a lovely touch. Ideal couples flat. Note that there are a lot of quite stRead moreeep stairs to climb to the flat and no lift. No dogs allowed and maybe not suitable for a family with a baby in a buggy or pram due to the stairs. Hide

We had a lovely flat with amazing views of mountains from our lounge, kitchen and bedroom! The bed was very comfortable especially after our long journey. We were given a pass to park our car and we just used the bus to get around. The accommodation was in the town, so we walked to restaurants for evening meals. All in all, very enjoyable. We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It is comfortable and well-equipped, and while quite compact, was ideal for the two of us. Situated in the centre of Keswick it is also ideally located for local amenities, and we had no problem getting parked in the town car parks with the permit provided.
