Lovely cottage in a perfect spot. We loved the location, just ten minutes walk from Cartmel and enjoyed being a short distance from the village but with all the facilities to hand. We'd definitely return!

Gorgeous little cottage. The views from the front door were amazing. It was lovely to sit on the bench with a glass of wine on an evening as the sun was setting. A lovely well needed break in lovely cottage. Located very well , at first we thought we were too far away from the centre of Cartmel, but actually it was perfect as the races were on and it was nice to be a short walk away from the busy crowds. Lovely well equipped cottage on the outskirts of Cartmel. We loved the walk past the race course into the village (half mile) and we loved the tranquility of the place. The cottage is small but it has been very nicely renovated with a lovely bathroom and a very comfy bed. This is a fantastic location, with views over fields and Cartmel racecourse. We loved sitting out in the sun in the morning overlooking all of this. Beautiful, snug little cottage - very comfortable, with great walkable access into Cartmel for the pubs and restaurants too.

Lovely cosy cottage renovated, furnished and cleaned to a high standard with beautiful views a short walk from the village and amenities. If going out of season you many need to use the log burner as the radiator struggled to heat the whole room, however upstairs very warm and cosy. Would highly recommend

The Lake District National Park is a superb choice for a holiday. If you love nature and the great outdoors, the Lake District is one of the UK’s most beautiful holiday destinations. Taking up the lion’s share of the north-western county of Cumbria, the region has been popular with visitors since Victorian times, and it’s the only place to find mountains in England. Peace and tranquillity characterise the wonderful Lake District, with 16 lakes, including England’s longest and deepest, there is much to see and do. Visit Coniston Water, Ullswater, Wast Water and Windermere for just a taste of what you can see in the Lake District National Park.

Small towns like Ambleside, Windermere, Hawkshead, Bowness-on-Windermere and Glenridding all make for great bases from which to relax and unwind between sojourns into the fantastic natural landscapes of the Lake District National Park. Wildlife and bird lovers can spot all kinds of lesser spotted species in situ, and walking trails reveal some of the very best vistas within English borders. To embellish the experience, you can enjoy some of the country’s cosiest pubs and restaurants, many found in picture-perfect locations.
