Accessed via a set of external steps, this welcoming property is both stylish and elegant, with many period features such as exposed stone walls and beams. In the open-plan living space, the lounge area is particularly relaxing, with a leather sofa and wood burner making it a super spot to cuddle up and put your feet up. The smart kitchen offers everything you might need to prepare your favourite meals or snacks, if you don’t fancy eating out. Amazing stay at Gooseyfoot, apartment in the heart of Hawkshead with excellent facilities and plenty of information in the cottage about walks in the surrounding areas. We stayed here for our mini-moon the week after getting married and it was perfect for this - special enough for an occasion such as a mini-moon but reasonably priced if you dont waRead morent to spend loads! We enjoyed staying in the centre of the village as it was so close to everything you could need but was nice and peaceful. Hide

Gooseyfoot is a lovely old property which has been beautifully renovated. Very comfortable and cosy and in a great location in the centre of Hawkshead. Great pubs in staggering distance as well as shops and cafes. The perfect location for walks and exploring the Lakes.

Gooseyfoot is a delightful hideaway in the middle of Hawkshead village. Beautifully presented property with everything you require. We stayed for a long weekend in February & we loved its location. We had a great time at the Gooseyfoot. Everyone at Hawkshead was very kind, and the walks to coniston and Tarn Hows were extremely enjoyable. We will definitely recommend this cottage to friends visiting the lake district. 10/10

Excellent renovation of this apartment with quality materials. We spent quite a bit of time sitting in the windows watching folk come and go in the square, with coffee in the mornings, tea in the afternoons and a large glass of wine in the evenings! Ideal location with buses in all directions, the bus drivers' skills were amazing in those narrow roads.
