An adjoining TV room, separated by a curtain, gives everyone the option to enjoy a film, while there is also a second lounge which offers additional space to unwind. More formal family meals can be enjoyed in the large dining room, while the impressive and contemporary kitchen is a budding chef’s dream, packed with everything they’ll need. A large boot room is a convenient space too, for storing wet clothes and muddy boots. Take a walk around Lake Windermere (5 miles) or Coniston Water (4.5 miles), hop on a pleasure boat or try out paddle boarding or canoeing. Grizedale Forest (3.5 miles) is a great family day out, with high-ropes courses, woodland walks and a sculpture trail.
