A beautifully located large house with great bones. Janet was friendly. Beds and bedding were fresh and comfortable, and it was cosy with plenty of hot water when the boiler was on. Kitchen very well equipped. To make the stay even better I would say the house would benefit from a deep clean, and perhaps a bit of a de clutter downstairs. We were alRead moreso all woken by the (effective!) fire alarm on the last night which went off at 1am for no obvious reason (we hadnt used the fire that eve). Hide

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed as a family. The garden is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable. The kitchen caters for 19 easily. The dining room also held us all in comfort. We would certainly come again.
