This is a great cottage with everything you could need. Views out towards the village & scotland to the front. And from the huge and well appointed main bedroom you can see out towards the lake District fells. The village and it's two pubs are a short distance away with the coastal path stretching from there north to Silloth or South towards MarypoRead morert. The wet room in the cottage is boon for those with mobility issues, though you may need to bring a shower seat. Hide

A very well equipped and comfortable cottage in a rural setting next to used farm buildings. Sheep and cows in fields all around. Quiet and peaceful. Allonby is about 3/4 mile away. We didn't find any footpaths to the town and the road isn't ideal for pedestrians. The road ends in 6'6" gap between 2 houses. This is a lovely, comfortable property to stay in, and a stunning location. We loved being a bit off the beaten track. The cottage is really roomy and well kitted out, but there is no outside space to sit and have a drink or a bbq. The Solway coast is just a short drive away though and we saw some stunning sunsets here. Very peaceful location.
