A lovely property forming part of an exclusive complex of luxury cottages on a family run estate, for a fun filled holiday whatever the weather.

Surrounded by three acres of peaceful gardens, this is a tranquil base for exploring the Lake District.

 

Forming part of a complex of cottages on a family-run estate, this stylish property is both welcoming and homely. Entering via a patio and sunroom, you’ll arrive in the spacious, open-plan living area with an exposed slate wall and warming wood burner. Snuggle up on the comfortable sofas and if the mood takes you, head into the modern kitchen, which has everything you need to rustle up a tasty snack. Enjoy a relaxed morning coffee at the breakfast bar or take a seat at the dining table for your evening meal. Music fans will enjoy making use of the cottage’s integrated sound system and music control pads, too. A wet room is to be found on the ground floor, while the cosy en-suite bedroom is upstairs. This is a particularly inviting room where you’ll awake feeling rested and refreshed. Bi-folding doors lead onto a private patio for enjoying al fresco drinks, while there are large gardens to wander around too. The on-site pool, hot tub, sauna and gym is also available for your use.

 

Explore the pretty village of Staveley (3 miles) where you’ll find local pubs and shops. Hop on a pleasure cruise across Lake Windermere (5 miles), or for a more adventurous day try one of the water sports on offer. Bustling Kendal (4 miles), home of the famous mint cake, has some larger stores, galleries and a theatre.

A fantastic 5* accommodation. Beautiful cottage in a wonderful setting. If you go here and dont like it then theres something wrong with you! Unfortunately we were not able to use the pool/spa/gym facilities due to Covid-19. We will be back
