The Grizedale Visitor Centre is nearby, with activities for all the family. Here you can enjoy walks, mountain bike routes, sculpture trails, and the Go-Ape tree-top adventure courses. Hawkshead, one of the prettiest villages in the Lake District, is just three miles away. Ideally situated between Coniston Water and Lake Windermere, Hawkshead offers a great selection of tea rooms, pubs and gift shops. Esthwaite Water, Coniston, Langdale, Grasmere and Ambleside are within easy reach, and Windermere and Bowness just a short ferry ride away. With breath-taking scenery and activities for the whole family, this idyllic spot guarantees a memorable holiday.
On entering this attractive property you will find yourself in the spacious and welcoming open-plan lounge/diner, with its traditional slate flooring, oak furniture, wood burner on a stone hearth, and exposed beams. Complete with TV and DVD this is an ideal space to sit back and relax. The dining area is ideally situated and is perfect for that special meal. Exploring further you will find a cosy snug which can be used as a separate TV lounge. Going past the snug and off the hallway, you will find the light conservatory/morning room with porcelain flooring and windows overlooking the rear garden. Next to the conservatory is a fully tiled wet room with walk in shower, basin and WC. Moving into the well equipped kitchen where you will find a double oven with hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Heading upstairs you will find four comfy bedrooms: a master bedroom with king-size bed, a charming double bedroom, a pretty twin bedroom and a cosy bunk bedroom. The bathroom is complete with shower over the bath, WC, bidet and basin.
Stepping outside, to the rear there is a pretty, private garden which is gravelled with raised flower beds and pots with furniture, giving you a delightful space to relax at the end of a great day and enjoy the beautiful views of the Grizedale/Rusland Valley. Off-road parking is available for two cars.
