Ideal location for visiting the Lakes and in the centre of the beautiful village of Hawkshead with a selection of shops & eateries. Cosy, old, traditionally furnished cottage over 3 floors.

We loved this cottage - it was homely, close to the village, clean, well equipped and loved the log fire. We had some amazing walks and meals in the village. Great location and the free parking pass was a lovely touch. However the pictures are deceiving and the shower room was very disappointing . Poorly lit( gloomy) with a broken shower door and mould around the tray. No proper furniture to hang your clothes and definitely a problem if 4 people were staying ... second room has nothing at all! Lovely olde worlde cottage in the heart of Hawkshead village. Very traditional Lakes cottage feel to it and like stepping back in time but very quaint. It was just the 2 of us and our Labradoodle dog Dougie. He made himself very much at home and the downstairs area was a good asset to use after a muddy walk to give him his wash. Jasmine Cottage was delightful. An old house with lots of character, but well modernised and comfortable. Particularly appreciated the basement utility room with underfloor heating - perfect for bikes and wet, muddy clothes after walks.

Awesome cottage right in the heart of Hawkshead up a little street under an archway from the little squares and multiple pubs / cafes - so still quiet. Very cosy. Stand-out feature for us was the downstairs space - huge double utility room area, easily enough space for 3 bikes and all the walking and biking gear. Rooms small but cosy; upstairs bathRead moreroom and free-standing bath nice, downstairs shower powerful. wifi nice and fast. Would hope to return! Hide
